Prophecy just slapped on a pair of skates

1. Divorce was 4% when I was born, today it is 51%.
2. One generation ago, gum was the #1 problem in America's schools.  Today, it's a gun.
3. Cohabitation: 65% of alter bound singles live together before marriage.
4. 57 million babies aborted, most with tax payer funding and abortion is now part of socialized medicine.
5. Marijuana is being legalized, now called recreational.
6. Euthanasia and infanticide is now legalized using more politically correct names.
7. Pornography is a click away on hand held devices.
8. Homosexual and transgender lifestyles are promoted, even by our president. Christians are
persecuted for refusing to marry or support this lifestyle.
9.  Movies and TV have removed standards that were in place one generation ago.  PG movies now
contain sexual references and foul language.
10. The first time in US history, more than 50% of all births are to unwed mothers.
11.  Sexually transmitted diseases now claim 1/3 of all Americans as their hosts.
12. 18 Trillion dollars in debt.
13. Over 11 million illegal aliens, with politicians pushing open borders and amnesty.
14. Corruption, fraud, nepotism entrenched within all levels of politicians.
15. Islam exploding worldwide, with an increasingly vulnerable America, dismantling their military,
placing incompetents in high level positions.
16. 25% of the world's ocean is now dead or dying due to radioactive water pouring out of
Fukushima, Japan. Our oceans reach 100% within 10 years.
17. An ignorant and low information populace now make up the majority of voting age Americans.
(I.e.: There is nothing you can do to fix all of the above.)

What's the good news?
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow!  God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him will have eternal life.  Salvation is but a prayer away.  All you have to do is #1: ask him to forgive you #2: ask him to live in your heart.  The rapture IS coming.  God said to his people "For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed...”  Malachi 3:6.  He promises to take His people out of danger, by way of the rapture.  After the rapture, life gets much, much worse on earth.

J.D. Farag is a pastor from Hawaii.  I started listening to his sermons a couple years ago.  J.D. posts 2 youtube videos each week. The first one is his regular Sunday sermon, and then he posts the second part of his Sunday sermon. In the second half he compares scripture with events that revolve around Israeli current events. This pastor reminds me of the pastor I listened to for 8 years, Pastor Charles Alber.

Not all Christians are really Christians

Senator Ted Cruz is a man who proudly, loudly proclaims he is a Christian.  He was invited to speak at an event by a group called "In Defense of Christians".  As you probably already know, he was boo-ed off the stage after he said “If you will not stand with Israel and the Jews, then I will not stand with you,” Cruz said. “Thank you, and God bless.”

In the beginning of this video you see Toufic Baaklini, the president of In Defense of Christians, asking the crowd to be respectful of Senator Cruz.

It occurs to me that this is what it will look like after the rapture.  God will come for His people and we leave this world to go with Him, turning our backs, as Senator Cruz turned his back on the 'Christians' in this crowd. At that time, many who called themselves Christian will be left behind.

Take God at His word…

In Psalm 132:13-16, we read, “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. ‘This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her with bread.”

"...I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of my people and my inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up my land."  Joel 3:1-2

Yes, take God at His word.  If you split the land of Israel, God will split yours.  Do you follow God 100%?  Anyone who hates the Jews, hates God.  God has said the Palestinians are followers of Satan.  Any 'Christian' who wants to give the Palestinians a state will be disciplined by God and He will not hear him.

Below are documented occasions of catastrophic phenomena happening 24 hours after the U.S. compels Israel to surrender some of their Holy covenant land for peace. The following was not written by me.

1. October 30, 1991: The Perfect Storm—

As President George H.W. Bush is opening the Madrid (Spain)
Conference to consider "land for peace" in Israel's Middle East role,
the "perfect storm" develops in the North Atlantic, creating the
largest waves ever recorded in that region. The storm travels
1000 miles from "east to west" instead of the normal "west to east"
pattern and crashes into the New England Coast. Thirty-five foot
waves crash into the Kennebunkport home of President Bush.

2. August 23, 1992: Hurricane Andrew—

When the Madrid Conference moves to Washington DC and
the peace talks resume, Hurricane Andrew, the worst natural
disaster ever to hit America, comes ashore and produces an
estimated $30 billion in damage and leaving 180,000
homeless in Florida.

3. January 16, 1994: Northridge Earthquake—

President Bill Clinton meets with Syria's President Hafez el-Assad
in Geneva. They talk about a peace agreement with Israel
that includes giving up the Golan Heights. Within 24 hours,
a powerful 6.9 earthquake rocks Southern California. This quake,
centered in Northridge, becomes the second most destructive
natural disaster to hit the United States, behind Hurricane Andrew.

4. September 28, 1998: Hurricane George—
As Secretary of State Albright works on the final details of an
agreement in which Israel would give up 13 percent of
Yesha (Judah and Samaria), Hurricane George slams into
the United States Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and
gusts up to 175 mph. The hurricane hits the coast and
stalled. On September 28, Clinton meets with Yasser
Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize
this land deal. Later, Arafat addresses the United
Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian
state by May 1999, as Hurricane George pounds the Gulf
Coast, causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time
that Arafat departs the country, the storm begins to
dissipate.

5. October 15-22, 1998: Texas Flooded—

On October 15, 1998, Arafat and Netanyahu meet at the
Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks are scheduled to
last five days with the focus on Israel giving up 13
percent of Yesha. The talks are extended and conclude
on October 23. On October 17, awesome rains and
tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area is
deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas
continue until October 22 and then subside. The floods
ravage 25 percent of Texas and leave over one billion
dollars in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares
this section of Texas a major disaster area.

6. November 30, 1998: Market Capitalization Evaporates
Arafat comes to Washington again to meet with President Clinton
to raise money for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital.
A total of 42 other nations were represented in Washington. All the
nations agreed to give Arafat $3 billion in aid. Clinton promised
$400 million, and the European nations $1.7 billion. On the same day,
the Dow Jones average drops 216 points, and on December 1, the
European Market had its third worst day in history. Hundreds of
billions of market capitalization were wiped out in the U.S. and Europe.

7. May 3, 1999: The Powerful Super Tornado—
On the day that Yasser Arafat is scheduled to declare a
Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital, the
most powerful tornado storm system ever to hit the
United States sweeps across Oklahoma and Kansas. The
winds are clocked at 316 mph the fastest wind speed
ever recorded. The declaration is postponed to
December 1999 at the request of President Clinton,
whose letter to Arafat encourages him in his
"aspirations for his own land." He also writes that
the Palestinians have a right to "determine their own
future on their own land" and that they deserve to
"live free, today, tomorrow and forever."

8. Week of October 11: Hurricane, Earthquake and Dow Collapse—

As Jewish settlers in 15 West Bank (Israel)
settlements are evicted from the covenant land in
Israel, the Dow-Jones financial averages lose 5.7
percent in the worst week since October 1989. On
October 15 the Dow lost 266 points, and a hurricane
slams into North Carolina. On the next morning,
October 16, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake rocks the
southwest in the fifth most powerful earthquake in
20th Century. The earthquake was centered in the
California desert and did little damage but was felt in three states.

There are a few more I noticed as I searched for examples of God's judgment but I think this is enough to show a "coincidence".

Are you one of the Christians to be left behind?

If I disappear...

Dear reader, Many of you will think my topic today is completely nuts.  But read through to the end, it will make sense eventually.

I began studying Daniel and Revelations in college back in the mid-80s. I'm not a preacher or a prophet by any means and I don't make prophecies. But after watching events unfold over the last 6 years, there is clear evidence that God knew what He was talking about when He wrote warnings over 1000 years ago.  Let me share some evidence?

What is the Hebrew word for violence? .... It is "Kha-mase". The K and the e are silent... say the word again without these two letters.

Written a millenium ago, here it is, in Genesis 6 "11 Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence (Kha-mase). 12 God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth. 13 Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence (Kha-mase) because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth." Reader, the Lord used the word Hamas.  It is no coincidence that the group attacking God's people in Israel are called Hamas.  But did you know Hamas is here in America?  Keep reading...

We've all heard the story of Noah and the arc... but did you know the bible describes the return of Jesus to be as in the days of Noah? (Luke 17:26)  Hebrews 11:7 says "By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family."   Dear reader, know that the warnings of His return were given to us centuries ago.  Please listen and continue reading, with faith?  God will never deceive you, He longs to give you hope and a future!

Jesus is coming back! There are warnings in the bible.  God gave us signs to watch.  Just like in the days of Noah. Please, please ask Him to be your Savior while there's still time. After I disappear, along with millions more, you will still be able to ask Him. But you will still be here to live through the destruction that comes. Hamas is everywhere in America.  People from Hamas were photographed in Ferguson, Missouri just this week.  Did you know seven muslims control the White House? And more muslims poured into America after one of them threw the borders wide open.

For someone just starting to read the bible, I know, it is difficult to understand.  Jump in somewhere and start reading, it doesn't matter where.  Eventually, you'll come to a paragraph that sounds familiar, like you've read that somewhere else.  So you go back to where you saw it before and compare that paragraph with the paragraph you just read.  This is how God talks to you.  Eventually it makes sense, like an idea dawning on you, only when it starts making sense know that is the Lord talking to you.  "Those who seek me find me." Proverbs 8:17  "If you need wisdom, ask our God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." James 1:5

Accepting Jesus as your Savior is FREE! And He is a gentleman! He will never force himself on you, he waits. He longs to shower you with blessings, but he waits for your invitation. Please don't put off this decision?

Do you have negative energy today?

Created by Natalie Pascoe
You know that like attracts like, right? So here’s the deal: Positive people are drawn to positive energy; negative people are drawn to negative energy. We tend to perceive negative energy as something other people have. Sure, sometimes we feel negative – as in, “go away and leave me alone, world!” but did you know that negativity can be so ingrained in you that it goes unnoticed?

That’s because negativity sometimes wears a disguise called ‘reality’. It’s easy to rationalize that you’re ‘just being realistic’ in not daring to act on a dream – and believe it! You may assume that positive people are not being realistic – that they’re being naive, that they are in denial with their heads stuck in the sand, that they put on fake smiles in the face of difficulty and so forth. But are they really happy fools or is there something to their positive attitude?

Consider this: since when does ‘being realistic’ necessarily mean that things will go wrong and that you have to accept that as the truth? That doesn't mean that being realistic is automatically negative. When you view the world from a ‘realistic’ standpoint, you can’t help but be negative.

"IF" your version of reality is negative, you are conditioned to believe that whatever can go wrong, will go wrong and whatever can go right, will probably go wrong too. Your unconsciously held beliefs make you into a negative person without your being aware of it!
So – if this negativity is so ingrained in you that you don’t notice it, how do you determine whether you’re stuck in a cloud of negative energy that is attracting the wrong people, wrong situations and wrong feelings? And how can you be sure you’re not perpetuating that negativity?

Here’s a quick quiz to gauge the level of negative energy within you:

  • Do you complain? All the time or just sometimes?
  • Do you often discuss what’s wrong in the world more than what’s right? This includes the ‘terrible’ weather, ‘horrible’ traffic, ‘idiotic’ government, ‘lousy’ economy, ‘stupid’ in-laws, etc.
  • Do you criticize? All the time or just certain people?
  • Are you attracted to drama and disaster (can you unglue yourself from the TV when there’s a news story of a disaster and can you avoid getting involved in the lives of dysfunctional celebrities?)
  • Do you blame? All the time or just certain situations?
  • Do you believe that you have no control over most of your results?
  • Do you feel like a victim? Do you talk about people doing things to you?
  • Are you grateful for what is or will you be grateful when things finally start going right for you?
  • Do you feel like things are happening to you? Or do you feel that they are happening through you?

These last two points are important:

  • If you’re not grateful except when things go right, you are negative.
  • Gratitude is positive. If you are grateful for what is (including the unpleasant school of life lessons), then you can invite more and more positive energy into your life.

Here’s another interesting idea to consider: have you noticed that positive people seem to get what they want out of life, and even if things don’t go their way, they still enjoy their lives… while negative people whine and moan about their misfortunes and even the good things in their lives?

To clear negative energy, try this 3 -step process:
  1. Take ownership: “When you think everything is someone else’s fault, you will suffer a lot. When you realize that everything springs only from yourself, you will learn both peace and joy.” – the Dalai Lama
  2. Cancel negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts. This takes practice, dedication and making a decision to see the world through the eyes of “what can go right” instead of “what can go wrong.” You’ll have to catch yourself anytime you are acting out or speaking out your negativity, and immediately change your tune.
  3. And when you feel drawn back to negative thinking, remember...
Visualize the positive instead of getting sucked into negativity; overcome past conditioning; think intuitively from the soul instead from ‘reality’; create a new, desired reality in your imagination and manifest it in the outer world. Nobody wants negative energy to permeate their lives, yet many of us allow it. But we allow it unconsciously, based on past conditioning that suggests an inevitable outcome to certain situations. When you overcome that conditioning and realize that the future is NOT cast in stone but that you have more control over your circumstances than you believe – then you can begin to consciously design your life.

What’s going to happen then? Your positive energy will magnetically attract what you consider to be good and right for you: people, situations, things… and you’ll notice a huge, huge increase in your happiness and inner peace.

Why not start today?

Proverbs31.org

The news reports have been discouraging lately, at least here in the U.S.  The gay kiss in the NFL is all over the news, meanwhile another NFL player who earned a Bronze Star for incredible bravery isn't mentioned. Alejandro Villanueva, a former U.S. Army Ranger who served three tours in Afghanistan, was selected in an NFL draft this week.

P31 Daily Devotions

I thought I'd share my favorite online spot for devotional reading.  This site is run by several ladies who live in NC, and I'm amazed how some days it seems they post a devotional written especially for me.  Yesterdays was a good one! Click the button on the left to read it.  When the news is discouraging I remind myself that God is still on the throne and His eye is watching over me.

Do you need to trade?

One of my blog posts seemed to resonate with my readers.  A friend of mine, Glory, wrote part of this one, I simply rearranged her thoughts a little.

What we say affects us and everyone around us, either negatively or positively.  The way we talk can change the atmosphere in a room. You can enter a place right after there has been an argument and feel the oppression in the atmosphere. But when you enter a place where there is joy and laughter it lifts you up.
  • Proverbs 18:20 Death and life are in the power of the tongue
  • Proverbs 21:23 Who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles.
  • Psalm 34:12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
  • Psalm 141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
  • Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
  • Psalm 17:4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
  • Matt 12:36-37 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men speak, they shall give account in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
That can sure cut down on our talking! Choose the words you speak wisely. Watch what you sow into your life, the things we are putting into our minds. Sooner or later that’s what we will produce. So if we don’t like what we are reaping, we can choose how to think and what to say. We will give account for every idle word we speak. Idle words are not productive.
  • Prov. 6:2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
  •  Eph. 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption
  • James 3:5 So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!
No person can tame their tongue, but it can be tamed by making the choice to let the Spirit of God have control.
  • Psalm 39:1  I said, I will take care of my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
  • Colossians 4:6  Everything you say should be kind and well thought out so that you know how to answer everyone.
  • Psalm 19:14  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Amen!

The edge was here today

Today has been an emotionally trying day. I haven't felt much like eating, but I did get my exercise in today. I am trying to remember what I posted yesterday on my blog... maybe that's why the Lord sent that thought yesterday, to prepare me for today?

My son has mental and emotional disabilities. He's 12, very intelligent but his behavior problems get in the way of school work. It took him 278 days to complete 4th grade. He got all A's and B's! He has Tourette's, Aspergers/Autism, OCD, ODD, ADHD, Narcolepsy, and is most likely bipolar. His father has the same disabilities except for the Tourette's and Narcolepsy. My daughter has the same disabilities except for the Tourette's and Narcolepsy.

So I live with drama, basically. I'm a laid back person, it takes a lot to get me mad and even when I'm angry it takes a lot to push me over the edge. Today was the edge. I haven't gone over it...yet. Stress leaked out, several times today, those salty wet things that slide down your cheeks, you know that kind of stress I'm sure.

I've been through some pretty bad trials in my lifetime and after the last extreme stress (2005-06) I learned the Lord DOES rescue me from evil. But it sure would be nice if it were on my timeline instead of his, you know? (grin)

So here's to remembering "God is for me, so who can be against me?" "Press on and have hope, because God IS faithful" "His mercies are new every morning, GREAT is His faithfulness".

Whether your problem is discouragement, illness or aging, sometimes all you have left is Jesus.
When you're angry and bitter, you can still cling to Jesus in the midst of your tears. You can grab onto him and refuse to let go until he brings you through it. You'll find, to your surprise, that he holds on to you even tighter than you hold on to him.

Jesus understands sorrow. He knows about being hurt. He remembers the terrible moment on the cross when his Father was forced to abandon him, because he was filthy from taking on our sins. Jesus won't let me go.

Thank you Father.

When Doubt Tries To Bully Us

This was on the website today at Proverbs 31.org.  It was so good I had to show you!  It is written by Renee Swope and is from chapter 6 of her book "A Confident Heart".

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31 (NIV)

One morning I woke up feeling beat up by discouragement. My mind was being bullied by thoughts of doubt: I can't do it all! I am not cut out to be a wife, a mom, a daughter, a speaker, a writer and all the other things God has called me to.My thoughts were against me, and my feelings were too.

As I lay in bed feeling completely inadequate, my radio alarm came on. Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by Twila Paris singing to me. With confident assurance, she spoke truth to my soul, telling me this was no time for fear, but a time for faith and determination. She challenged me not to lose my vision or be carried away by my emotions, but to hold on to all that I had hidden in my heart, and all I believed to be true. Then she reminded me of the most important truth of all: God is in control. [1]

As I heard these words, my thoughts aligned with God's truth. It changed my whole perspective. I went from feeling afraid to feeling determined and from feeling out of control to knowing God is in control.

We have the choice either to let doubt beat us up or to let God's truth build us up.
If we have Christ in us, we have full access to God's power and His promises to live with a confident heart. But it won't just happen because it's possible. We have to take action.
When my alarm came on that morning, I was so glad I'd set my radio to that station the night before, so I would wake up hearing encouraging music and truth. Just like I tuned into that station, we need to get intentional about tuning our thoughts into God's thoughts toward us, every day.

In the same way a radio has AM and FM frequencies, so do our thoughts. They are either AM (against me) or FM (for me) thoughts. The truth is, we are often our worst critics and have a lot of AM thoughts.
Find this book here

And if our thoughts are against us, our feelings will be too.
So, the next time you get those feelings of uncertainty and self-doubt, stop and ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you are thinking that is making you feel that way. Then compare your thoughts about that situation to God's thoughts, which are reflected in Scripture. Do they match? If not, find a promise in God's Word to replace the lie that has filled your heart with doubt. Here are few to get your started:

• When doubt comes against me, saying I'm weak and all alone, I will focus on the truth that God is for me! I can be strong and courageous because the Lord my God is with me. He will never leave me nor forsake me. (Deuteronomy 31:6, NIV)

• When doubt comes against me, saying I'm not good enough for a certain role or position, I will remember that God is for me! He says I am His masterpiece, created to be new in Christ so that I could do good things He planned long ago. (Ephesians 2:10, NIV)

Power Verses:
1 Peter 2:9, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (NIV)

Deuteronomy 20:4, "For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." (NIV)

Romans 8:37, "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." (NIV)

Could you do this?

A friend of mine created this video using a song by Crossway, "Took it all away".  It's my favorite song of all time.
